I'm considering using E85 but I have questions.
Will 13:1cr be okay?
Do the carb conversion kits work okay(metering blocks) or is it better to with a specific built Carb?

13:1 is safe on e85, i have run 15:1 without issues.

as far as carbs, there are many off the shelf carbs that are very close out of the box. I have done the kits, made my own etc. for the few hundred dollars more, a complete carb is what i would purchase. Time is money, ive seen guys spend weeks fixing these kits to run right. lots of wasted gas, fouled plugs etc.. Go with a reputable company. Be aware some of these internet carb guys arent really carb builders. there are some guys in here that can set you straight. BLP, APD, AED, QuickFuel and Holley have good ootb carbs

Mark Sullens told me that he can rework my existing carb to E85 for less than $500. Im going that route.
