Gen 3 Hemi cam phaser lock out.
Any reason why I shouldn't just weld the phaser down instead of stuffing it with aluminum blocks like everyone else does?

Probably some case hardened pieces in there won't weld well.
In any case, welding is a nasty thing to do to a moving engine part.

Gen 3 Hemis use a cast iron core afaik.
