Re: Depac tach signal generator
Just now I dug out an old stepper motor from the shed and connected it to the scope and gave it a half turn with a pair of pliers. It has a 1.8 deg step angle so that’s 200 steps per rev and it generated 25 cycles for a half turn. That sounds like 50 cycles per rev to me. Edit -> stupid iPad makes pics upside down for some reason.

Thanks, Cyclotron. That's important info ! That's gives me the confidence to order some with that step angle.

Cyclotron, Am I right to assume you were measuring one phase at a time in your bench test?

Re: Depac tach signal generator
Hi Norm S,
I am having the same issue with my Depac system. Did you ever find a solution? Any guidance and help would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Mario

Re: Depac tach signal generator
Yes Mario. The Depac tach signal generator is a stepper motor. There are many different sizes and configurations of steppers. I’ll look up the specs for the ones that work with the Depac, and get that info to you. Norm/CFS

Re: Depac tach signal generator
Hi Norm, could I get that info too?
Don't have an issue with mine right now but it'd be nice to have this info to hand if/when the time comes.
Am I right in assuming you got your Depac up and running again?
Hope so!
