Bushing olds rods
My rods measure .978-.980 pin end Id the bushing part # uccrb980 measures .980 od what’s the correct press fit will this bushing work they’re a little long im assuming they can be shortened

Drill oil hole in the top of the rod rebore finishing the bushings to size

Loctite Bearing Mount Green 640482 would be a good choice. Wet both the rod bore and the bearing OD before pressing the the bearing home.

Not trying to to be argumentive with previous post's , there is always more than one way to do things, I always roll in the bushing and use no loktite, just my way of doing bushings , they will not move when the bushing is rolled / burnished in. JMHO

.003” is the common interference fit.
For that.980” od bushing the rod id would need to be .977” or smaller.
That’s going by most of the bushing manufactures I know of.
