BAM bushed lifters!

Post by bob460 »

Found this interesting..........

2600+ 1/8 mile passes  on this BAM .904" BB1 steel bushed DLC roller lifters

375lbs seat/ 1200lbs open spring pressure.

The lifters were stripped for inspection to find no visible bush wear. The lifters were re-assembled and put back in the engine. BAM solid steel DLC

They were 1/8 mile passes. Still, thats a hell of a lot of meetings when you work it out. They definetley were old lifters.
