A little fat at idle? About 200 miles on these...

it looks a little rich , hard to tell exactly ?

Also what is your Compression Ratio ??

after zooming in + i may have lightened your Pic too much ? but this is what it looks like to me
... need a clearer + closer original Pic to get better analysis .

Compression is 10:1 (9.97:1 if you want to nitpick), it’s had a few WOT pulls on it recently but mostly just regular driving. I’ll try to get a better pic this weekend after I’ve put a few miles on a couple of fresh plugs.

Plugs are champion RC12YC’s, as recommended by the head manufacturer as a starting point. I’ll have to investigate what the next step colder would be.

i'd keep the Heat Range you now have for driving around, it will burn-off most deposits
... it looks like best of both worlds :)

The Projected-nose Plug is basically acting like its supposed to,
that is, incoming Mixture helps cool the Ground Strap ... that's why its Plug's Ground Strap appears like its running both Cold and Hotter at times,
and Plug's threads look hotter than they should !

a good Full-Throttle test would be on Chassis Dyno , Engine Dyno, or DragStrip, to determine best Plug Heat Range to use with best Jetting
... but this would only be good for Full-Throttle Runs , things would change for Cruising + part throttle

Travis,

As stupid as this sounds, I always got better plug life using Autolites.

No resister plugs and just hard wire spark-plug wires here.. No resister carbon wires...
