Autometer Ultimate DL tach set up

Hi guys, just completed a new build, using # 6894 Autometer tach. Having trouble following their set up instructions. Called help line, they answered one question & hung up. I'm still on hold ( 1/2 hour ). Anyone with knowledge who can help a senior citizen please feel free to reply. Thanks.
