Sbc 350 grind number identification
Good morning afternoon... I am needing some help identifying this camshaft it is pulled out of a early sbc 350 block it is mechanical roller lifter. I am trying find the same camshaft or possibly a cam card so I can find one just like it... The numbers on the back is 119566SM and the number below that is 99K1A and on the front of the camshaft it is 11006G. I have contacted crane, lunati, and comp cams and none of them is sure... I was told by crane it is there core number which is 119566 but they are not sure who produced the cam they thought it could be a cam dynamics cam but I can not locate a old catalog to find out. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Have you considered sliding it back in the engine and degreeing it? If it’s ancient it may have been reground at some point, with different specifications. I suppose you could ship it to your chosen cam manufacturer and have them cam Dr. It and match their lobes to it.

Not positive on this but Herbert cams has a 6G grind # the 110 on top could be the LSA . The numbers are 305°\ 308°@.020 269°@.050 in , 275° @.050 ex .616 in lift .618 ex lift 110 LSA .025 lash both in/ex. Only way to tell is have it measured. Dan
