I have used their heads & know others who have also, with no problems. But I would hesitate to use a highly stressed part such as a piston without some feedback from someone who has used them.

yes, on a 408 stroker 351w with AFR 225s, solid roller. customer supplied em, no problems to date. they were all within 10grams, ring lands had more clearance then i would have liked, they all seemed to be within .0002 at the skirt. they had a generous amount of ptv clearance with a 268@.050 108lsa 104 ica.

The question that needs to be asked is what power level, stroke and rpm do you need them to live in?

In a very high performance engine, use the highest quality piston that is available, regardless of price. Even if you have to rent out your wife to pay for it.

For normal performance levels, it is very hard to beat the OEM pistons in terms of quality and durability, if properly
matched to the application.

For quickie repairs, to be promptly sold, use any cheap piston that fits.

I use their billet tapered carb spacer. For $45 to my door I can spend that money saved on other parts. Especially when the only way to know if the spacer helps is after testing. I don’t feel like spending $150 for a spacer that might sit on the shelf. But that is just me.
