Safe distance between poly lock and rocker
Working on stud type rocker that is showing.050 ish gap at full lift. Is that enough or do you like more in case of a float situation?

Sounds like lots to me. If you’re concerned you could try a shorter pushrod, but I would be worried if the Lifter/rocker/valvetrain might loft enough to contact the lock.
Is this an extreme RPM engine?

How much lifter-pushrod travel does it take to reduce the gap at rocker/polylock by .050"? If you are lofting it over the nose by that much you'll have much bigger problems to deal with.
DON'T PANIC

If the cam is solid lifter, no problem. If hydraulic, that clearance could be taken up by lifter pump up. Result could be bent pushrod....or worse.

Its a solid roller setup. It had 1.73 rockers before moved to 1.80.
