Prefer not to get into that. At least not yet.

Re: Piston pin "end play" ? How much is ok ?? UPDATE
Hey guys,
I didnt get into the whole story earlier but my customer actually bought these pistons almost 4 years ago. He had a stroke shortly after buying them and is just now getting around to putting the engine together.
I just got off the phone with Racetec, who manufactured the pistons. I explained what I had for end play and they told me that the pistons were obviously boxed with the incorrect pins. I gave him the piston number and they are sending me the correct pins at no charge to me. All this after 4 years. I dont think you can ask for any better customer service. I am going to return the incorrect pins to them.
By the way, they said that the correct end play should be about .020" for the round wire locks,
So alls well that ends well And a big thanks to Racetec !!!

Where is the like button?
I like it when things come together in a positive way.

Vintage info. Probably for truarc type flat locks.
My take-away is the piston design ( flexibility, and flex) may modify the minimum end play.
