Pipemax?
Anyone care to Pipemax an 8500 rpm 401 ci SB2.2? I'm hoping it carries over good to 9000.
An EMC SB2.2 at around 850 hp back in 2012 had 2" to 2.125" stepped headers on the primaries, and they were 4-2-1's. That engine peaked at 7200 rpm and pulled to 8000 really good. I was kinda thinking along those lines, but it would be reassuring to know for sure via Pipemax, or any real world experience.

search YouTube for those type Dyno tests videos
input 8500 RPM as Peak HP RPM point and see what PipeMax recommends ?
or Post a ScreenShot of your Inputs
this Link is wild build of turning a V8 into legal V6 SB2 NASCAR engine , it peaks around 9000 RPM

post a screenshot of all your PipeMax inputs would greatly help
Re: Pipemax?
The 8500 rpm sb2.2 if you don't care Sir.
What all do you need?
I know it's a lot to ask, and it's okay if you don't want to fool with it.

Re: Pipemax?
Sorry to go off topic but,That EMC engine............with .900 lift and only 250/600 spring pressure....

Re: Pipemax?
This was done by Higgins down here in Australia........
420 SB2H Dyno results.....PUMP GAS!!
We set about to build a typical street car motor to show case what can be done with our new clean sheet Aussie made small port SB2H cylinder head and intake manifold combination and to bring the forever loved SBC into the 21st century. The bottom end features budget minded off the shelf components like a PEP crank, Molnar rods and CP pistons and the camshaft and lifter combination is happy cruising Friday and Saturday nights...
The Heads are 2.85 mcsa and with a 2.170 intake 1.6 exhaust valve. What makes this even more impressive is that it’s done with 4150 manifold / carburetor.
864HP, 640ft all by 7500RPM
