It appears you have an 11/32" valve stem but,
If anybody is looking to use an 8mm valve with a round "bead" lock and an 11/32 retainer at near the same installed height as a 8mm retainer, (however, the retainer itself would determine the installed height as a STD. or +.050" or +.100"),
Precision Products Performance Center in North Carolina makes a thick 8mm 7 degree bead lock for doing that ... #8152 VLB

Good to know!

Even with these raised height 8mm retainers on 8mm valves those locks could prob bring them back down more than -0.050 locks would. I mean ideally you'd buy the right height but if things change as they sometimes do and a set of locks is cheaper than maybe the retainers.

Been down this road years ago with Crane retainers. They had their own locks to fit their retainers.
Every other lock was close but not the same fit. I seen guys do this and break valves at the groove or pull the tip
through the retainer.
You are just better off to get the correct lock+retainer combo for the job.
Actually just looking up parts/locks and discovered that Crane Cams had some type of "Multi-Fit" line of locks/keepers & retainers that only work together, looks like maybe 7 & 10 deg???

BUT they also had normal 7 deg locks that I've used, the -0.050 11/32 w/o problems AND they also had Super 7 locks.

Course Crane stuff is running out since they are kinda gone, so anyone just be careful if you buy any of the remaining stock.

Thats true.
the Crane retainers and locks are impossible to locate. I have several sets of crane retainers and no locks for them.
I had ordered some retainers and locks just before they shut the doors and the locks were never shipped.
Never found any suitable to use the retainers as well.
