Fuel sender connection

I know these are made to connect to nylon fuel lines, but could you use them with rubber hose? I’ve got a fuel tank sender that uses this style of connector, but I’m switching from nylon lines to steel (nicop), and planned to use a short section of rubber between the tank and the steel line.

If this won’t work, does anybody make a proper connector?

Yes, those will work. There's also -6AN fittings available too, if you want to go that route.

I've used those with high pressure rubber hose to make adapters to tee into fuel lines for checking fuel pressure or cleaning injectors many times.
