If you just cut new seats in for the larger valves flow actually goes down a bit... When you port them too, then flow goes up up.
If you look at the funnel venturi shape under the 1.94" valve , you now want to create a new proportant sized larger funnel venturi shape under the new larger 2.02" valve.
Its about 89% of the valve diameter. Then fully port the whole port appropriatly.. Huge max hogged out ports are not needed.. If you want huge ports start with a big port head.

If you do not want to get into heavy porting and some chamber work to really make good use of a 2.02” valve than a custom 1.96” and typical 3 angle valve job will pick you up some nice fat flow numbers, although peak flow will not go up by much.
You can cut a man's tongue from his mouth, but that does not mean he’s a liar, it just shows that you fear the truth he might speak about you!

I went 250ish on the intake side with a bowl port and a 1.94 valve, would a 2.02 make more flow, it might but there is a reason GM only uses a 2.00 valve in the larger Vortec heads that produce good results.
