Adger Smith

Post by MadBill »

(This may not be the right forum, but I believe it is the most read, so):
I've just discovered that this is Adger's most recent post, a full year old. I believe he is one of us of the Senior persuasion (and a Speed-Talker for 17 years) and I fear the worst. Does anyone have information? :(

I have been wondering about Adger also. Last I heard he was a tech person at Engine Masters. Last I talked to him 2/3 years ago
he had closed his business to the public. He was doing some work for his long time customers. He had become interested in
small home made air craft and was build one of his own design.

Let's hope then that he's taken to moving in three dimensions in lieu of two.

Thanks Max. Always sad to lose the contributions of a longtime Talker, but great to know he's still extant! :)

Adger Smith is doing fine.
I communicate with him all the time and he very active in Facebook and still flying his airplane.
He had some minor health issues, nothing to worry, typical for all of us that are getting old.
...and yes, he is looking to return back to the track.

Yep. I talk to him pretty regular on Facebook. He was wanting to come look at my car I'm getting ready to sell. Adger is a excellent guy and machinist. A lot of knowledge in his head. I'll message him and tell him you were asking about him.

Well it has been a circus.
I have had computer problems and didn't even know it.
I'm such an idiot with computers...
I couldn't get back on Speed Talk so I gave up and just became a watcher.
(Facebook was to easy to use)
Now thanks to a IT friend and our very own CamKing I am able to log in.
Bill, Did you really miss my dribble?
1. Yes, I have had some health issues
2. Covid coming along has helped treatment
3. I am planning on getting my car out soon. Tulsa Div 4 is target date (Obligations might negate)
4. Still have my shop operational.
5. Just open to some Good former customers.
6. I've not enjoyed retirement and I might re open, but can't do that without good help..( First..I've got some projects I'm interested in)
OK, That is it for now..
