When my son was young I considered building a Jr Dragster.
I got lucky as he grew way too fast so I was spared that expense.
While on that subject I pondered a grownup front engine version mounting a harley sideways....on nitro of course.
Always had that in mind since.
Fast forward to today. This looks like more fun..and I have "stuff" sitting around.

Um, YES! With a side order of HECK YES!
I love outside the box thinking, especially when it means using trash and turning it into treasure, instead of just doing billet everything. Billet has its place, but for creations like this using old stuff makes it way cooler.

I thought that was a cool get up for sure. I always loved hearing the scat V4 at the midget races as well. I was always intrigued by those.
Re: V2 Chevy
That's quite cool IMO. We had a couple of Harley guys do that here in MN a long time ago, never did get to hear them run. They sounded funny and the little homemade valve covers were pretty cool.
Re: V2 Chevy
Cool! Not sure why they didn't weld the valvecovers? Would only need one head and one cover LOL

Re: V2 Chevy
When I worked in the crank shop at Tri-State Auto in Vermont, I built a 2 cylinder crank from a steel crank that was cracked as a gag piece. I sawed the front and the rear off at the crank throws and migged it together, then built it up in the Storm Vulcan crank welder and ground it down and polished it nice. I covered it in cosmoline and put a customer tag on it and left it near where the finished cranks sat. Boy I had a lot of fun with that piece.
