Alcohol bolt on fuel pump-Holley

Post by econo racer »

Anyone using the holley block mounted alcohol pump. It is about $300. I want to take my hi performance gas mounted one off and upgrade. Running E85 with it for years. And I recently saw the fuel pressure drop a little to low at the 600 ft. mark . I think it will be more than enough. I run only 100 mph at 6.90 and I really believe its a tenth slow. Holley part#12-327 is what I think I want. Any E85 lovers here?

I haven't personally used one but know several who do in high hp dirt track applications with no problems.

I much prefer the Baker Engineering Pro Cam pump. I use the 11psi pump and dead head to 7psi on E85 without any issues.

Best block mounted pump I have ran is the C&S alcohol pump. It's 15psi and I run a Barry Grant throttle bypass with a methanol carb. It's been on the car for 3 years now with no issues. Probably gonna buy another one next year and send that one back to be rebuilt so I have a spare.
