The exhaust valve needs to be a bit smaller but, it certainly can be done.levisnteeshirt wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 9:24 pm Anyone ever do it ? The wider valve spacing doesn't count

According to my Brodix catalog the 2.20”/1.60” is a option on a 70/125 valve centerline for the - 12 heads.
The intake port goes from 287 CCs to 305 with that change.
You will need a rocker shaft system with that move also due to the needed .180” offset lifters I guess!

been watching some Eric Weingartner videos ,, he puts a 1.56 exhaust valve in some of his heads ,,, i dunno ,,, I made this post and wanted to see if anyone came back with a response ,, they have 2.150's in em now ,
i probably need to get newer heads ,, these have the raised runner and not the hump in the floor ,, been hearing these are more desirable , Brodix went back to offering a RI -12
If I can get them in the 750-775 range on a 434 I think they'll do fine ,, from what I read a sprint 406 on alcohol MFI has been doing 800 with these for quite some time
i might order a 2.20 valve and see what things look like
