I have a friendly rivalry with a couple guys at the track. One of them I have been present when they have dynoed a couple of his engines. I know he is making 75hp to 100hp more than me, and he has yet to outrun me heads up. All those little things add up to make your car the most efficient at using what ever power it has. What I noticed is that when you start doing all the little things, the car does not many times pick up so much as it gets more consistent, then slowly the times pick up as you fine tune.

I just wanted some insight on what guys are using for exotic bottem end stuff. Cant run a vaccume pump.

I am currently using gapless top 043. gas ported bottom 043. 3mm standard tension.

Would .9mm and low tension oil rings be worth a look?

Also again the 1.88 journals if scat or someone will make me a crank.

I am currently making about 650hp.

I dont/ cant say whAT CLASS i am running sorry guys lol
Keep in mind SS/GA 325 HP 396s @ 3400 pounds run 9.20s, and turn 9000 RPMs through the lights, and they make more than 650 HP with restrictrictions, two being a 2.07 intake valve and a Q-Jet. Honda rod journals are utilized. Windberg will make you a crank........
Racing a NA NHRA stocker should be mandatory before any posting.
