Sorry missed the weight, 3060. Are you checking density altitude or just altitude? I see it is pretty hot and humid in lebanon which will run up the DA. Woodburn, OR is about 300 miles for me. It is a very fast track because low elevation, fairly dry and low temps. I suspect I can get 9s there.

The fastest run, at 131 mph, was at 700DA.

I ran the Holley XP850 on Friday night when those videos were taken. I was having starter/flywheel issues in the lanes, but made a few runs. So far, it hasn't run any quicker than 10.2x's with this carb. The first thing I did Saturday morning was swap carbs with the Quick Fuel 950. Unfortunately, it wouldn't start unless I turned the engine over to allow the starter to engage the flexplate in a different position. A few teeth got worn off the TCI 29.2 plate. I didn't want to risk getting stuck in the lanes , so I trailered the car for the weekend. Probably my own fault, but I'll investigate further. I called Pro Torque and ordered a Boninfante 29.2 plate. It arrived the next day. Hopefully, I'll have the car ready for Island Dragway on October 9th.

Heres a typical pass on my car running high 9s, these are the incrementals. My point is utilization of available power. A power glide is a horrible idea in a car as yours is setup.

60. 1.30 not great
330 390.7
660 6.143
MPH 108.98
1000 8.10
1320 9.783
MPH 132.10

1320/132=10.0

I think if you look at your drive line and rolling car it will pay off for you.

Finally got back under the car today. Extremely tight tolerances on this flexplate. I've literally installed hundreds in passenger, street, and strip cars, including 29.1 and 29.2 plates. First time installing a Boninfante. Never have I spent so much time installing one for an exact fit. After this experience, it seems every other one was 'close enough'.

Thanks again. I can finally relax a little. It's tiring chasing numbers. Now I need to slow the car down to prevent it from running quicker than 10.00. I had the Q-950 on the engine for these runs. Back to the XP-850?

Here's the 9.81 pass with the 1.308 60'...

Second round run with North East Timing Organization in NETO/N class at Island Dragway. I lost this round to the lady in the white C3 Corvette. The Camaro ran a 1.295 (60') and a 6.178 @ 108.87 (660'). I broke out, pedaling before the line, with a 9.896 @ 123.49 (1320') on a 10.00 dial-in...
