I vote magnum for multiple reasons. More choices available in after market. The block contains "nickle". The hyd. roller is a free bonus,
faster ramps and it lives. 273 car came with a 7.25" ring gear + will not last ! Need at least an 8.25"/ later years.

Find a 383. Give it a Krylon rebuild (rings+ bearings) and street port the stock heads. It will do everything that matters better, in that car ,even if with just B Magnum exhaust manifolds.

Going RB, why not a 440"? These days they cost the same to patch up. We've even got a couple of 413"s in the boneyard.

While not a Mopar guy, my expert on the matter insists for a scrounged build today to start with a 400" and put in a 413" steel crank.
