Pipemax ID or OD

Post by 408 Nova »

It's probably in plain view somewhere on Pipemax, but is Pipemax using ID or OD?

How accurate is it?

I know it's Larry Meaux's program and he is more than top notch, and it's nothing against him for asking about its accuracy.

You're right, it's in plain view down in the details generated when the Sim is run. OD, based on .0625 tube.

Cheers

As an aside, in engineering pipe is measured on it's ID and tube on it's OD.

Cheers.

The reason I was asking is because I'm having a header fabricator here where I live make me a custom set of headers because nothing is available for the application I'm running, and custom headers are expensive. Just want to make sure it's done right the first time.

I appreciate everyone's help!
