Eliminator offers three varieties of this head.

This “BD” version has normal CJ intake ports, and the exhaust uses std Ford headers.

The overall height of the head is quite tall, and they use pretty long valves, which seems to be more for the version with the raised A460 style ports.
Somewhat handy with a die grinder.

I have a set of the CJHP that I ran years ago, they had 2.3" and 1.72" valves

What were the cam specs you ran with those heads?

The B3V BD is the CJ-HP head.

In theory, with a 2.30/1.72 valve combo you’d have had about .030-.035” seated valve-to-valve clearance.......depending on how deep the seats were cut and how thick the valve margins are.

Well, that’s more duration than what will be used with the ones I did...... so it should be good.

I understand, just meant to say there pretty decent heads that are capable of some big hp with the right combination

They’re not much fun moving around in the shop from bench to bench though. 8)
