Do you have a complete dyno print out you can post up?

The majority of similar engines make 650-ish horsepower and need to spin higher to do it. Really like the intake! Big fan of how it allows sufficient runner length with the short deck engine! You're getting close to 100 horsepower, even at a lower rpm peak from somewhere. Maybe it's a combination of optimized D3 heads, the intake, high end headers and a cam that needs the 7/16" pushrods and titanium valves? REALLY cool build!

So near pro stock torque per cubic inch and over 2 hp per inch before 7000 on 369 cubic inches, on pump gas

Who knows, could of been some kind of accidental release of an unknown oxygenate in the room.
Re: 369ci SBF PUMP GAS STREET BUILD!!
Seems like a very cool, expensive build regardless. Im sure it runs good.
Re: 369ci SBF PUMP GAS STREET BUILD!!
To be fair... A GOOD 363-ish 8.2 deck spinning close to 8k rpm generally peaks around 650 hp. He is claiming 100 hp over that... and at a fairly low 6800 rpm. How could it do THAT much better than what others are running???
If you click on the picture link, it is a HIGH dollar build. The intake itself is pretty amazing... and the longer, straight runners will definitely help things big time in that rpm range.
The engine has D3 canted valve heads that are likely very nice.
The engine has a valve train consisting of 7/16" pushrods that are absolute overkill on 99% of builds, especially at a short 7"-ish length. It also has 2.125" titanium valves. If the cam is truly built to take advantage of these parts, it could be pretty strong in that rpm range. THAT being said, the title said 'STREET'... so durability with that fast of a cam would not be all that 'street'. Also not going to put effective air filters on those throttle bodies. lol
Headers look to be HIGH END. Likely something there if they match the combo correctly.
I'm assuming 'Stage 5' oil pump refers to a dry sump???
As for the 'oxygenated' comment... He could very well be using Q16 or C45 oxygenated fuel, which is good for at least 20hp all by itself on that engine.
Everything put together makes it POSSIBLE that he is making the claimed power... or at least close to it. That being said, everything would have to be WELL SORTED and RIGHT. Of course, to verify... a well detailed dyno sheet would be required. On a high end engine like this (with individual pyro bungs for every cylinder) it probably exists.

I believe dyno numbers only once I have seen the uncorrected power numbers and the fuel amount used, or the performance of the vehicle!

MT what don't you believe about this combo?
This guy build's race engine's that are limited to 302ci, 10.1 comp, 7500rpm and run e85 and they make 650hp........and need to last min 3,000 miles before they can freshen the engine.

Like you said 650 and 7500. Not 750 and 6800.. show me how many lbs per hour of fuel and the bsfc and ill believe it.
I too often see many bogus dyno numbers and it frustrates me. Especially when an engine I build that uses say 260lbs of fuel makes 100 less hp than an internet build thats the same and that engine uses 230lbs. .32bsfc vs .43bsfc
If it really does thats very stout.
In a nutshell I've built D3,SB2.2,R0X,P7,P8 headed engines and they never made that torque at that RPM with same, similar or less cubes.. more cubes yes.. but still not that low, with more compression.
It takes a pretty stout big block to make those numbers pump gas.
Re: 369ci SBF PUMP GAS STREET BUILD!!
The guy building the car is a supercar driver down here in Australia and who built his engine worked in nascar learning the rope's for years with toyota, and is the leading engine guy in the team.mt-engines wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 8:18 pmLike you said 650 and 7500. This engine wound not be cheap, but most parts where sourced through the supercar team right down to the headers which are modified to suit the street car.
The race engine 302ci he builds cost a huge $100k to build and to freshen engine every 3000 miles is about $35k.
This is not your average engine builder...........ask warpspeed if this can be done.
If i found out more info i will share it,plus when car is completed ill post pics/video's.
This type of racing is close to nascar, but we don't have oval tracks..............some track's are just street's turned into race tracks.

Here is a video of an engine in this class, this guy also dynoed the pump gas 369ci engine aswell.
