How is fuel distribution on a 460 4150 Victor intake?

Post by NXBOY »

I did radiusing and removed floor middle ridge. Also going to lay back bottom half of front and rear divider 1/2 inch like Randy Malik said on one of his older post on a 4500 one if I read instructions right lol. Might make it a 4500 top since have dual bolt pattern throttle plate on around 975 cfm carb. Ne easier to work on plenium and might try a Dommy later, Around 800 hp 521 7, 000 max rpm. Street and little 1/8 mile test and tune. It was lean tell last time out, then 3rd gear went out, this was 10 yrs ago, hoping to get it going again.

Cylinders number 5 & 8, (Ford numbering), will normally run a little lean with that manifold..

Does doing this help these cylinders? Looks like need to run drivers side jets a little bigger.

These intake manifold modifications will help but, not totally cure the issue.
