SB2.2 RO7 intakes
Are they interchangeable? They sure look a whole lot alike is the reason I was asking.

Re: SB2.2 RO7 intakes
Short answer is no. But it looks like if you want to do some drilling and tapping, welding and grinding, maybe you can make them fit.
R07 is on the left/SB2.2 on the right.

Re: SB2.2 RO7 intakes
If it was a raw manifold maybe.
Port centerlines are different enough, not to mention the bolt pattern to make it a waste of time.
If you need an SB2.2 intake, I could find a dozen in a few minutes.

Re: SB2.2 RO7 intakes
I appreciate the information from y'all.
I was just wondering because you see them quite often on eBay for pretty cheap sometimes. So with the information y'all gave me, they're just not even close
I have a nice ported 854 and an as cast 699 for an sb2.2. I have an 8500 rpm 401 ci engine that I'm building. I've been told the 854 is too small and an M&M intake has runners setup for a bigger engine or for an engine running to a higher engine speed than what I'm doing here.
Looks like the 699 is it. But that 699 looks huge to me also. Hell I'll just run them both on the dyno and see, lol.
Gonna run a small tire heads up class around here with it.

I've seen multiple times the M&M run slower.. even on big inch engines. They peak higher but lose a ton of torque everywhere else408 Nova wrote: ↑Thu Aug 04, 2022 7:23 pm I appreciate the information from y'all.

Man I appreciate the effort in sizing these things up for me.JoePorting wrote: ↑Thu Aug 04, 2022 12:59 pm Short answer is no. But it looks like if you want to do some drilling and tapping, welding and grinding, maybe you can make them fit.
