Most of the LS/LT stuff says to install dry on the rubbing surface. Hopefully one of these guys/gals here can provide some insight. I always used to lube everything.
Heat is energy, energy is horsepower...but you gotta control the heat.

LS has a Teflon sealing face so yes, dry.
I always worry about the dust seal but it doesn't seem to care.
