Looks good Scott,
How much taper do you work on for your application.
On my 383 engines that turn around 7000rpm I look at approx 3/4"
That manifold is way too small for my application. It’s an old outdated design. I wouldn’t use it on anything larger than 327 cu in.
As far as taper work is concerned, I just blend and finish without reinventing the wheel.
The Hi Tech Tork Link intake manifold has tuned runner length to make good mid range mid upper power and torque.. Much like a cross ram or long runner tall tunnel ram but with a single carb.
Hard to beat the visual impact. https://bangshift.com/wp-content/upload ... elink3.jpg

I have one hanging on the garage wall, I should test it sometime. Definitely a car show talking item.

That would be an interesting test for sure! I would love to see the results compred to both single and dual plane intakes you’we ran on your combo before.

Whilst it could be called a dual plane, it isn't a 180 degree manifold, so it won't come close to a dual planes bottom end, may better a single plane up to 5000 RPMish, but it will get dusted beyond 6500.
Ignorance leads to confidence more often than knowledge does.
Nah, I'm not leaving myself out of the ignorant brigade....at times.
