Hi All.
Can someone tell me where I can buy a serated valve notching tool for deepening valve reliefs in piston domes ?
They turn down through guide in cyl head and cut piston in mock assembled block.
I dont yet have a mill and want to do my own valve pockets, I know this is going to be very time consuming.
Gary.

-Iskenderian has the serrated cutters but I don't like'm at all for other than trimming existing notches.
-They don't cut past a half an eyebrow like on a flattop piston.
------------------------------------------
-Dave Lindy lindytools.com has three blade notchers that should be plenty adequate.

-I have used the Iskys but I usually end up making my own 3 blade cutters as I need them if I have to cut the depth much at all.

Here's a decent write up about doing it on an LS1 engine.

I also believe they rent the tool out in case you don't feel like buying one.
