Rods

Post by Trev »

Well i finally decided on the rods I am going to Run
I bought a set of Lunati Pro Billets. Got them for 1800 Aussie dollars, thats 1100 dollars cheaper than teh Carrillos.
They look a nice rod as well.
Anyone think I should have them bead blasted.

Those rods out of the box are fine. Just clearance the big and small end as they will be on the tight side and check them for bend and twist as we do every rod that goes through our shop as from time to time we may find one that needs a little adjustment.

We have a customer that has a circle track engiine with the forged Pro mod rods and this will be his 9th year on them we just resize the big every time we refresh the engine and mag them.

Thats a good question Mike as the pins are standard and the bushings are original and they are still in good shape as we have not any trouble with pin bushings in any of the engines we have been building and most of the engines are 11:01
