Thats what I was thinking ( I am a SBF guy) it just looks like they are real old and there is absolutely no Trickflow markings on them.

Thanks.

They are likely of mid 90's vintage. You can call or email trickflo with the serial number stamped in the head and they can give you the details. The early ones had iron valve guides and it's a good idea to replace them with bronze. Those look like the swirl vane in the intake has been cut out. Getting the rocker geometry on the intakes right is tedious. Comp makes a special rocker with an offset shaft to help. I have the part # somewhere, if you need it I'll hunt it up.

The comp rocker is #1307. It's a pro-magnum rocker with the rocker stud hole in the shaft off center to help with the rocker geometry. You use them on the intake side only.

I have re-done several sets of those heads. Each of them had WASTED valve guides and every spring dampener was broken.

I believe those take a real short valve. Only from
TFS also after re guiding make sure to check
center line of guide to spring pad being square..

welcome to the forum ... let's just hope they've fixed it by now ... it's been nearly 15 years.
