Don't Race on the Street

Post by speedtalk »

Hi, Thanks for posting. First off, don't race on the street - I'm sure there's a race track close to you. To modify for the race track, it's hard to beat the value of NOS. Here's the industry leader:

First things first ...you need to set a budget and a goal with your car!

Once that is done we will have a better idea on the direction you need to go .

NOS is a good cheap hp maker but not for a person who know nothing about mecanics.

To be fast in a Camaro (fast enough to beat an import) you will need a V8 because a V6 won't cut it and I don't think that your stock V6 will handle enough NOS to run fast enough .

To beat an average import at the track you need to run 14's and since your car is heavy (3500+ lbs) and have 175-195 hp V6 your at a disadvantage considering a Honda Civic 3 dr hb weighs 2400lbs and have swaped out motors starting at 160hp-205hp

I love motorsports because all other sports require only 1 ball!

Cheap...Powerful....Reliable...Choose only 2 of the 3
