good use for inox

Hi all,
a mate told me a couple weeks ago to use INOX,WD40,CRC to get rubber spray off the rear guards of the car,i have been drag racing for 30 years and just find this out now LOL.
are you guys in the know or is this a first time thing as well,i have only ever used prepwash and polish,you can call me a dumbass i dont mind
