Car is ladder bar not 4 link
Still needs adjusted.

The normal engine rotation to the axle rotation causes the right rear tire to lift off the ground.
Doesn't matter if front is down or straight up.
The springs should be supporting the car not the shocks, which are for 'fine tuning' the rear suspension.
My dragster has no suspension, the right rear tire is still being 'raised' on launch. (along with the front wheels)
The objective is to make it so the right rear and the left rear tires plant the same to get best traction.

With a ladder bar or 4 link this can be adjusted to take care of it.

They were staggered all season to help bring me back to the right. If I set them up level the car would go hard left every pass. Just near the end of the season when I got the car running the best it has the launches were getting more violent and my spring loaded wheelie bars just wouldn’t bring it back for me anymore. I knew I was just bandaiding the issue but wasn’t sure how to fix it.

Link to an article that might help explain it:

Launch Straight

That is a really good article. Thank you for that John Wallace. A guy needs to learn all he can and I can’t always find good sources.

We have a 2000 pound Monza, 2x3, ladder bar. Our problem was very similar except it was going to the right pretty hard on launch. What we did was "string" the car. We found that we were a touch long on one side by almost a quarter inch. Corrected that and the launches have been straight since then. With car up on jacks and level we dropped lines to masking tape on the floor from the center of the front spindles and from the center of the bottom ladder bar bolts at the rear. We then measured the lengths of each side. There's a bunch of stuff to check on these cars but maybe this helps.

John Wallace Is correct. Another is using spring loaded wheelie bars.
