Strange blocks on leaf springs

Post by HS Nova »

Anyone know what these blocks are and what purpose they serve? They are held on by metal straps to the mono leafs. Car is a 1969 Chevy Nova. Never seen anything like them before.

They were to prevent spring chatter on the mono leaf cars.
