Do I need to keep the stock valve, "distribution block", or whatever it is that is under my master cylinder if I install a prop valve?

I have a big van master cylinder on it now so isn't the big, "reservoir", piped to the front brakes? And the little one to the rear??

I gotta get my car on the road so this is a start!!

Does the "distribution valve" have an electrical terminal on it?

It's actually called a combination valve because it has 3 jobs; proportioning valve, pressure differential piston (in case you break a brake line), and the switch for the dash idiot light that lets you know that the pressure differential piston moved.

The pressure differential part is pretty important in case a line breaks or the fluid somehow disappears. You could potentially lose half of the car's stopping power without realizing it.
