Heights Pro G

Post by Ironraven »

I installed a Heidts Pro G sub-frame on my 72 Nova. It appears that to get all the body lines to line up and the body to sit right on the sub-frame I need to at least a 5/8 shim, besides the mount bushing. I called Heights and didn't get a real good answer from them, just if that's what you need to do then go ahead. That may be true, but it seems to be a bit much of a shim. On the original sub-frame besides the body mount, it had the standard 1/8 shim. So I'm at a bit of a lose if this is correct or not. Now I have driven the car and it rides fine, but I haven't really tried any hard driving. Any suggestions? Thanks
