Anybody see any downside(s) besides cost to using Grade5 Ti spacers?
I need to gain .050" of offset to center radial mounted caliper to get perfectly centered, if its that important in the first place, seems like a Ti spacer would insulate a bit on the brake heat getting from the alum hat into the alum hub/bearing, which IMO is not over sized, vs say steel or alum spacer, and be lighter than SS.
Modifying the caliper mounting bracket is not acceptable in this application.

Re: TI wheel/rotor-hat spacers?
IMO the use of a Ti spacer would be the best choice of material for that purpose.j-c-c wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 2:33 pm Anybody see any downside(s) besides cost to using Grade5 Ti spacers?

I doubt you'll see any thermal difference.
