The haunting song by Johnny Rivers, "The Poor Side of Town"... My way long gone Buddy that lived south of B'Ham could sing it just about like Johnny did..

And another one sung by Cindi Lauper that was in the movie, "Michelle's and Romy's HS Class Reunion", I think it is , "Time after Time"??

If you don't take it literally and can imagine all walks of life ... "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" by Meat Loaf.

Meat Loaf can sing!

His, "I will do anything, but I won't do that", is great.

Don't think I could narrow it done to one song, five or even ten. My favorites vary althoug I don't listen to as much music as I used to. So my top 10 in no particular order.

Stairway to Heaven/ Led Zeppelin
Smells Like Teen Spirit /Nirvana
How Deep Is Your Love /Bee Gees (don"t laugh:))
Nessun Dorma /Luciano Pavarotti version
Even Flow /Pearl Jam
Don't Look Back in Anger /Oasis
Across The Universe / The Beatles
Stardust / Vince Giordano version
Boston 1976 (whole album:))
God Only Knows The Beach Boys

Plenty of others I like as much but I do like these.
High quality metal, body and paint work

Back again!

My Buddy George and I were out west of La Plata, MO late one Sat. night drinking gin and 7-Up, (oh how bad), and as we were parked in my '57 Chevy above the the SF/RR tracks, the 1st radio play of the Beatles came on!

"I want to hold your hand"...

Does this date me or not??

I have lost track of George, but he was mellow dude back then.

Last time I saw George was when Burch and I went to La Plata way years back before Burch passed.

Hell, I only have Doc left!!! And I flat told him to take care of himself or I would piss on his grave!

I have a couple, but one on the list to be played at my funeral is 'Souped up Ford' by Rory Gallagher https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsgtxIWZndI
Its more about 'leavin town today' than it being a Ford,,,, although when it comes to motorsport for me Ford has to be the winner, although i have owned Holden Ute's [4] more than i owned Ford ute's [2], the cooks car? well, that's another matter.

The other songs i want played at my funeral the cook has said "not happening" ..

Cheers.

No real favorite but this one comes to mind and is appropriate during "are we this stupid?" times.
