I can plainly see the ghost of EMC of the past few years ... the April 1st deadline of "participant disclosure" has come and gone.

I have learned to EXPECT nothing. A whole lot less stress that way.

I selected a 410 Mercury engine - mainly because I could use up some inexpensive parts I have laying around.
And because it was kinda weird....
It has a 390 block and a 428 crank.
Built in volume in model years 1966 and 1967 for full size Mercury cars

After days of searching, I just can not locate any findings showing 1966 or 1967 Mercury Monterey cars with a 410 engine being converted into "stocker" type race cars; or, any of the "land yacht" passenger cars becoming race cars, either.

Looked to find a near 5,000 pound 1968 Lincoln Continental with a 460 engine or a full size 1968 Thunderbird with a 429 engine ... with no success.

These, and the engine specs for probably several other vehicles, just are not gonna be shown in any NHRA competition guides, even though many thousands of them were manufactured and sold everywhere.
