"Hot water heater" Really? Isn't it cold water that it heats? #-o

We have a few cans of Tuna here... it says "solid yellowfin Tuna.... The ingredients says " wild caught yellowfin tuna, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt"...and then "contains fish"......But nowhere does it say Tuna Fish................ :D

All country's have turns of phrase that can leave outsiders scratching their heads,,, as relatively new as our country is i think we can lay claim to some [probably most] that defy reason even by some of those that speak them.
If you need to see some of our more cringe worthy turns of phrase look at the movie "The adventures of Barry McKenzie"

I can understand every news reader globally that speaks English, so its not about accent. [except Scotland]

Cheers.
