Just finished 'Exactly' by Simon Winchester, top read if you want to know the history of the decimal point, pretty much anything by this guy is a great read. Next is 'The Graphene Revolution' by Clegg.

Cheers.

Recently discovered The People of the Abyss by Jack London about life in the slums of London, England in 1903. Very interesting, factual, and written in the style of The Call of the Wild.

I'm now wondering whether a common Appalachian surname "Slavey" might have been their actual job back in England.

True Spirituality by Francis Schaeffer

and

The book of Isaiah, chapter 35

And a highway will be there;
it will be called the Way of Holiness;
it will be for those who walk on that Way.
The unclean will not journey on it;
wicked fools will not go about on it.
9 No lion will be there,
nor any ravenous beast;
they will not be found there.
But only the redeemed will walk there,
10 and those the Lord has rescued will return.
They will enter Zion with singing;
everlasting joy will crown their heads.
Gladness and joy will overtake them,
and sorrow and sighing will flee away
