I was rooting for the Astros myself. However I was pleased to see the National players go to the Whitehouse and not make fools of themselves.

Same here, Allen! The Nationals showed real class both during and following the World Series. Good sportsmanship. Worthy adversaries. They played well and they won. Good on 'em!

NFL on the other hand is dead to us since condoning the showing of disrespect to our nation. And we never liked basketball.

So we have a new appreciation of baseball at our home the past several years and will continue to support the home team. Go 'Stros!
