CRS syndrome

Post by travis »

I seem to have contracted this terrible disease. I went to move one of my 351w’s from a stationary stand to my engine stand, and can only find 1 mounting bolt and washer. I was just using the thing a week ago :?

It’s either CRS, or I need to interrogate the kids

Amature,
I was working with a bunch of 5/16 nuts. I go to the box to get a wrench. I stood there for a moment looking for the 5/16 wrench. mic drop

Is that better or worse than standing in front of the toolbox trying to remember why you’re there in the first place?

Ever had the issue when you know have 2 of something, like specific a fastener/bolt, but you only have one of them at the moment you want to use them?
Then you start look around the entire shop, for something feeling about an hour, moderately to heavily annoyed, only to finally find the another one.
... and then to have forgotten where you just put the first one again in your search...

And then after further fruitless searching, realized that what you had just found was not the 'second' one, but the first one for the second time... #-o

The micrometer with the BHJ Block-Tru fixture reads backwards to me. Every time I pick it up, I have to do a self tutorial, that is unless I forget it’s backwards and true the wrong deck first.

Depth mics, yup, it usually takes a second look at the thimble to know which direction the wind blows.

I spent way too long looking for a radiator cap last week after I topped off a car. I HAD IT IN MY HAND.

Forgetting to turn the stove off...forgetting where you are when driving. Scary-

Last night tossed a 5 gal can into the car, filled it up at the gas station, then came home.

Someone got lucky and picked it up where I left it after filling.
