Moving back home to Colorado

Post by Alaskaracer »

Well, after two years, I've decided to move back to my home in the mountains of Colorado. Yeah, the front range of Colorado is a liberal shithole, but the mountains are not, and people are PISSED. Leaving the heat and humidity of Florida to go back to the dry mountain air!!! Many reasons for it, some company related, but I won't get into that....Got a great job offer and all my friends and family want me back. Not with current company though....it's time to part ways after 13 years...just don't like the direction they are headed in.

On the other hand, if anybody is looking to move to Florida, my house is up for sale. House is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1845 sqft on half an acre, and includes an insulated and air conditioned 2000sqft shop......if anybody is looking and is SERIOUS, please pm me about it for more details.......

Nice. I'm a 3rd generation FL boy, we are looking to move somewhere less hot muggy in the next 3-5 years if I can get my side business to take off. When I was younger, racing MX, and was in great shape the heat did not bother me. Now that I'm in my 40's and sporting a dad bod, it is not so fun,

Good luck with the move and new gig.

Try being 73 in north central MO for heat/humidity in the summer and cold/humidity in the winter!

BUT I dearly love our four seasons!

Generally, if I don't like the weather, it usually changes in say 8 to 48 hours!!

I was mailing a scraper at UPS yesterday and one of the customers waiting in the queue outside had a "Ross Pistons" shirt on. He was another Colorado-Florida boy.
