Fords little car transmission problems.

I was walking around the neighborhood on the sidewalk yesterday and as I turned a corner at the end of the street, one of the little Fords turned with me.

As it straightened out, it made a couple of funny, "thuds", as it went on by.

Is this what the problem is with Fords little car transmissions?

Never heard anything like it in the past so just wondering is all.

Doesn't Ford have like anywhere from 11,000,000 to upwards of 13,000,000 of these trans. on the road??
