Found an oil pressure sending unit in the woods this weekend riding my motorcycle.
it is a two prong 5A 1/4" npt sender. it reads OFF100PSI, ON70PSI. It could be something other than oil I suppose.
curiosity killed the cat, what could this switch possibly control?

Re: oil pressure switch
Could be from an air compressor that operates differential lockers in a truck

Magnús has a good guess.
When I was young and roamed the farm fields looking for Indian artifacts I would also find odd items that really didn't belong there. The area that I grew up in regularly had large tornadoes that sucked up items from people's garages and homes and flung them miles away.
