Browser drag racer

Post by Fastvette94 »

It’s been awhile since I posted but I wanted to share a project you might like. I’m building an online race game/ simulator that uses my race physics model and places it in a 3D world running at 60 frames per second. This is preliminary work but it is getting.

The purpose is to meet up online with others and enjoy some racing at a familiar setting, walking around the pits, standing by the starting line or staging lanes. You get the idea. This is for fun.

Here’s a small demo

Also getting the tire rubber laying working. Will tune this up a lot more to show light and dark areas. This also showcases stick cars, foot braking and transbrake.

..added race trailers in for flavor.

Working on unequal weight launches as well. The lateral forces are still not in yet though.
