SBC 1 piece rear main seal adaptor

Does anyone have access to a SBC 1 piece rear main seal adaptor to measure?

I need the diameter for the end that protrudes towards the flywheel about .5" from the end.

I need the dimensions to make a custom flywheel dust cover.

Are you talking about the factory 1 pc seal holder or a 2pc to 1pc adapter ?

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but this is a stock Chevy seal holder. It measures just about 5" It is a casting so it is not perfectly round but pretty close.

For some reason I cant seem to attach a picture. If I figure that out I will add it.

Im after the factory cast seal holder. It bolts onto the back.

Im trying to make a manual large flywheel dust cover to suit 1 piece seal.

I need the dia of the seal holder at the rear end so I can cut a smaller Gen 1 dust cover up to fit.

Bill, if you’re taking the pic with a iPhone and trying to upload to ST directly, the picture will be too large. I have to email pics to myself which then gives me the option to resize it. Then open the pic from your email, save the image...and then you can upload the resized image. That’s the only way I can get it to work.

I am not sure what the problem is. Not using an iPhone, Android. I resized the pic to almost nothing and it still doesn't like it I have added pictures before with no problem. I get this message:

It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct.

I tried some other pictures and they work fine, it is just this one, crazy I will take a pic with my camera instead tomorrow and see what happens.

I think those 305 Camaros only used the smaller flywheel with smaller bellhousing. Im going to need to make what I need. Just need the dia of the rear of the adapter, I think its this one Ive attached.

I've just had a bizarre sequence of PMs being misdirected, sometimes multiple copies going to a number of unintended recipients. Perhaps this also happened to Simmo's note.

Many of you received an errant PM about TBI Injection, yesterday.
It's not an issue with the forum software.
The person that sent it, accidentally clicked on "HotPass members" in the "add groups" box, next to the "add recipients" box.
This added all HotPass members to the recipients of the PM.
